Quality product March 4, 2009 DonD (West Plains, MO) 23 out of 23 found this review helpful
The lens or viewing area is 5 inches. The total diameter is 5.5 inches. The magnification is less than 2X. The glass is of excellent quality. It's too bad it's advertised as 3X. This deception cheapens what is otherwise a very good product. DonD, West Plains, MO
Nice wide view lens at a reasonable cost. February 20, 2008 C. Washburn (Everett, WA USA) 13 out of 15 found this review helpful
I bought this product in order to view some of my smaller print books and study bibles as I am getting to that age where it becomes difficult to read smaller font.
With a smaller viewing area it seems more difficult to follow the flow of words on paper, but this 5 1/2" round lens definitely helps there.
The only downsides is the heaviness of the lens, which may be a problem for some, and the rubber of the comfort grip has a bit of a petroleum smell. (I put a bit of scented baby powder on my hands, and rubbed it across the grip to solve the latter problem.)
All in all a great product for the cost.

Great Magnifying Glass ver large , not super strong but still very good. Great for maps, books and newspapers AAA
Bought has a gift February 17, 2010 Jerald D. Lifsey My 92 y/o grandmother read the newspaper everyday, front to back, but needed assistance reading it. The magnifying glass helped her with her entertainment.
AH! I can see! November 22, 2009 Rev. Ronald G. Cosseboom (Arvada, CO United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had cataract surgery and have been dealing with "adjustments" for 6 months. I finally broke down and thought I'd get a "glass" that could help with the "fine print", well, I got a great tool as well as a surprise. I was thinking it would be a plastic lens, to my surprise, IT IS GLASS AND VERY CLEAR! Awesome for reading everything from menus to computer screens! Excellent service and product!
